Roger Illa is a pianist and composer. His passion for the piano and for period keyboard instruments shines through in both his concerts and his pedagogical activities, and has led to his becoming an emissary for early instruments and musical styles: our society is largely unaware of the origins, history and development of early music, as well as its musical interpretation following historical criteria.
